The place was quiet and peaceful. It had a washer and a laundry line outside to hang clothes to dry. Great place for our family of 4. Would stay again.

We had chosen this place for a day of relaxation during our Iceland trip and didn't regret it. It's a very tranquille location in a beautiful setting close to a river. The house itself is absolutely amazing, in particular the hot tub on the terrace.

Wonderful lodge which was spotlessly clean and great facilities. Lovely hot tub and even a geothermal outside shower nearby which was a point of interest. Loved this place, yes the cabin is very small so we left our suitcases in the car but for the price and location it was one of our best stays on our 16 day ring road trip People mention problems with the hot tub but when we stayed the owner met us and explained how it worked and it was really great. Make sure you visit the turf houses nearby - next to the hotel with a pool in the distance.
