Overall it was a delightful day and I highly recommend this apartment for anyone looking for a great place to stay.

Hotel Ristorante Lewald is a 5-minute drive from the A22 motorway. It offers free parking and air-conditioned rooms with satellite TV and Wi-Fi. Some have a balcony. Hotel Lewald exceeded our expectations. We used Bolzano as a launch point for our 3 days of exploring the Dolamites. Check in was a breeze. Christian and his mom (the 4th generation owners) were beyond gracious and accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble. We were provided a complimentary cocktail and aperitif every afternoon at the pool, which was clean and refreshing on hot afternoons. We were also presented with free public transportation tickets, although we didn’t use them because we had a car. Recommendations for restaurants that were not touristy and were close to the hotel were terrific. Although the airport is within walking distance to the airport we never heard a plane once. The wellness center was an unexpected bonus and we used it every single day. Heaven!! Breakfast was great and to my pleasant surprise they had gluten free options!! Cocktails were delicious and strong. We would stay again in a heartbeat and highly recommend!!
