My Bnb Pisa is situated in Pisa, 2.4 km from Piazza dei Miracoli, and has large outdoor shared areas. Each room has a private bathroom. For your comfort, you will find free toiletries and a hair... Clean, comfortable, quiet. It's a five-minute walk to the airport and maybe 15 to the train station. Perfect for a stay before/after a flight. The mosquito nets on the window were also a welcome addition after being eaten alive for two weeks straight. And the restaurant across the street is great if you'd like a change from pizza/pasta. Would happily stay again.

Valentina was a great host. She welcomed us and showed everything we know. She offered pushbikes for us to use which was a nice surprise. At our check out, she gave us lift to bus stop which was so helpful cz its about 15mins walk and our bags was heavy and was too hot to walk. She may needed to go in town anyway but she waited for us which was kind. Definitely recommend this place to stay if you want to be a little out of town.
A must for everyone, perfect for a couple of days away especially with the option of car hire to tour round, word to the wise don’t pre-book your taxi total rip off ie; 7min to city centre €160.00. Take time to book you flight as Ryan airs prices fluctuate from ridiculous highs to awesome lows !
Pisa is not the most interesting city when in Tuscany, we stayed there because we flew in and out of Pisa. Visiting the Leaning Tower is a nightmare, huge crowds and too many sellers everywhere trying to sell you their cheap stuff. Try to avoid the markets, it is only «Made in China»-stuff, nothing Italian about it.
Pisa is not exactly a city to travel to with a small child. There are not many activities for children, we did not find any playgrounds available in our area. When it is too hot, you have nowhere to hide from the sun. Piazza dei Miracolli is packed with tourists who have no respect for small children who need to hide from the sun (we arrived on 11.6.). For entertainment, we traveled to Florence, where my son was at the Da Vinci Museum and the Pinnocchio Toy Museum the next day. A children's menu is also not easy to find and when you ask for dry pasta for a child or just with tomato sauce, they say they do not have it. Adults who feel like exploring, they definitely have something to do, you can walk around here, it is fine for 2 days, maybe even three. Another bonus to the airport - there is an overpriced train from there, about 6 minutes to the station. Regardless of the fact that the city is close by on foot, if you walk a little, you will come across a shop where you can buy a bus ticket and it is therefore significantly cheaper. The sad thing is that right at the airport you will find a notice that it is not possible to buy a ticket for public transport in Pisa at the airport.
A great place to visit for a few nights, with plenty of site seeing, shops and great restaurants. As a family if 5 with children between 10-15 plenty for them to see and do. Train station and services was also great and easy to use
Pisa actually really did pleasantly surprised me. as a solo traveller I have to say I really enjoyed 24hours there and I have made the most of it. Local people made me feel extremely welcome and were really helpful in answering all the questions and giving recommendations. It is worth googling best restaurants in town rather than staying around touristic attractions as they are a tourist trap. And those former, are exceptionally good.. . As I walked down the cobbled streets of Pisa and marvelled idyllic architecture ahead of me, I have lost myself in an exceptionally great winery- Enoteca - La Cantinetta which is family owned and takes you through a journey of local wines produce. The owner is very passionate about it and has a great knowledge about the wines in general. The L’Ostellino serves best sandwiches filled with local specialities- my personal favourite- Black smoky Angus rucola and pecorino which melts in your mouth with every bite. The Dolce Pisa which is just across the street, will serve you an authentic pastries accompanied with an espresso. Their desserts, especially, Cannoli are on a different level. You cannot skip Primo Pasta place that serves street food pasta and tiramisu is to die for!! Staff service is exceptionally good! Overall, those 24hours were divine and would recommend anyone to visit!
