The family are so welcoming! We explored the garden with the owner explaining all the plants, vegetables and fruits. We enjoyed a cooking experience making curry and rice which tasted amazing! The hosts went above and beyond with all our requests and we can’t thank them enough. Great experience overall!

During my stay in Sri Lanka, I was lucky to stay with many wonderful families, but this one definitely touched me in a special way. The room was clean and spacious, and while the location is a bit far from Sigiriya and Pidurangala, the family rented me a motorbike that was in the best condition of all the ones I rented in Sri Lanka. If you don’t want to rent a motorbike, they also provide tuk-tuk services. The hostess always served us tea or coffee with snacks in the afternoon and prepared the best curry I had in Sri Lanka. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. All of this would already be enough to give the stay a 10/10, but the best part was the conversations I had with the two hostesses. They are so sweet and shared a bit about their customs and what it’s like to live in Sri Lanka, both in the past and present. They were also very curious about my culture and family, and it was wonderful to exchange stories with them! Even with the language barrier, we understood each other perfectly. Very clean and neat. Owner and his family were very helpful and supportive. Had a good experience staying in this place and would recommend for 1-3 nights stay. Also breakfast was very good, we even asked for additional roti)

The nicest family guest house! Breakfast was delicious. The lush gardens around the house are so beautiful. We had everything we needed, it was the best value for money and the family took a great care of us. Highly recommend to stay here if you are on a budget and want to stay with a local family :)
