We stayed here for two nights and fell in love with this beautiful, cozy, and quiet family-owned boutique hotel. It truly felt like a countryside retreat, with a peaceful and serene environment that was incredibly relaxing. The room was very spacious and impeccably clean. The bed was so comfortable, the water pressure in the shower was great, and the AC worked perfectly. While the cell service and Wi-Fi were a bit unstable, that’s common in Myanmar right now and didn’t impact our overall enjoyment. The food was exceptional—it felt like eating home-cooked meals. Compliments to the chef for such delicious dishes! The staff were outstanding—so attentive, friendly, and accommodating. They arranged an e-bike for us, which made exploring on our own a breeze. After a day of adventures, the spa services were exactly what we needed to unwind and recharge. We highly, highly recommend staying here. It’s a true gem for anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing getaway. Can't wait to return!

Featuring free WiFi and free private parking, The Hotel Umbra Bagan offers accommodation in Bagan. The hotel facilities are very nice the hotel has a very varied breakfast , the rooms need a remodeling. But because of the conditions the country can understand, beware you can only pay in dollars at the hotel cash in the evenings the light goes out.

Located in the historic city of Bagan, The Hotel @ Tharabar Gate features an outdoor pool and a spa and wellness centre. The staff is very friendly and helpful (like all Myanmar people!). The set up of the reosrt is beautiful with nice little 'houses' in great and well kept gardens. The swimming ppol was in good order and so was the overall property. The room was spacious and fortunately very clean. The resort spa was small, but of very high quality - excellent massage with superb price quality - take one every dauy before dinner! I found it difficult to find a good and safe hotel in Bagan with little (recent) proper reviews - hence also my more extensive review of this nice and 'great pick!' hotel. Location is excellent and very close to all sights. Breakfast also ok for Western travellers. I will certainly look to return with my family. Boasting a spa and wellness centre, KMA Bagan Hotel River View offers meeting facilities for business travellers with Wi-Fi access in all areas. Everything - the most friendly and welcoming staff I have ever met. The food is excellent and everyone from reception to restaurant takes great care of customers. They upgraded my room for free. Situated in Old Bagan. Most places are very easy to reach. Will certainly come again.
