This is really a lovely hotel especially if you need to be close to the airport for and early departure. Front office staff fantastic and super helpful . Free airport shuttle driver truly great and vant help enough . Will stay here everytime now when i need to be in Yangon . Mercure Yangon Kaba Aye is centrally located along Kaba Aye Pagoda Road leading to Inya Lake and just a 15-minute drive from Yangon International Airport and Shwedagon Pagoda. The hotel was clean and tidy. My room was large with necessary facilities like fridge, microwave, laundry machine. Water was refillable at the Lift area The bed was very comfortable Unfortunately I didn't take a dive in the pool...which looked so clean and pristine. The receptionist, Htet as well, Phyo, the manager were very helpful. The receptionist assisted me in making telephone calls to my spa...as I didn't have a local Simcard, neither could I speak Burmese. The lady manager also allowed my late checkout. My appreciation to the nice room service guys from the bar. All in all, everyone was friendly and great in their service.
