Beautiful lodge, rooms are lovely, fresh (even in the desert heat, and decorated with great taste. The lounge areas are beautiful too. Afternoon sundowners from the pool with a view to some dunes were a highlight of the trip. Fantastic location, inside the first gate to sossusvlei. Easy to arrive at the park early in the morning and avoid the crowds. Friendly and helpful staff, always eager to help. Food was very good, especially the braai night. Can’t wait to come back.

Beautiful sky at night. Not bad swimming pool. Relatively close to deadvlei.gas station and small shop 100m from campgrounds.

Towering over the red sand dunes of the Namib Desert, this 4-star lodge offers an outdoor pool and a dining terrace overlooking a floodlit waterhole. Everything here was exceptional. The staff, extremely friendly, the food fantastic, the view unbelievable, the room clean and cool. So far, on our Namibia Trip, this was the best place to stay, we even got our room fairly early in the day and could enjoy a nice cold drink at the pool.

Surrounded by granite outcrops and with stunning views and roaming wildlife, Desert Quiver Camp offers modern self-catering accommodation, located just 5 km away from the entrance gate to Sossusvlei. We stayed for two nights in Desert Quiver Camp. The facilities are top notch and the location is very near to the Sossusvlei park gate. The BF and Dinner options at the Sossusvlei lodge was amazing. The sunset from the Camp is the highlight. Overall a wonderful and memorable stay.

Lovation, close to Sossusvlei. Clean, modern and queit accommodation. Well equipted for self catering. Tou can also have dinner at neighbour restaurant or order food for grilling. Friendly staff. Michael showed us a hill close to watch sunset. Beatifull!

Namib Outpost asub Sesriemi kanjonist 34 km kaugusel. Kohapeal on restoran, välibassein, terrass ja baar. Puhkemajakeses on tasuta WiFi-ühendus ja eraparkla. I don’t know where to start it was just amazing beeing welcomed to this place. Our room was beyond beautiful with an outdoor bed (they‘ll arrange sheets and everything if you tell the reception) a second terrace with sunloungers, outdoorshower and another balcony right in front of your bed. Interior is very spacious with gorgeous big windows, a big comfortable bed, lounge area with the most amazing view and a very big bathroom. Minibar and coffeestation are filled up so you can enjoy a drink right when you arrive. We had Zebras right in front of the lodge when we arrived. For sundowner you can choose to visit the upper deck (up a small hill), they‘ll arrange the drink you told them in advance and also very good tapas. Thanks a lot to Willie and the second waiter for arranging our drinks last minute and for racing up the hill with them and our tapas. :) After that head right to dinner, honestly the best dinner we had during our whole holiday. The steak was amazing, the starter and the amuse guele, the soup and the dessert. Lastly the whole staff really cares and seems to really enjoy beeing there and working together you can really feel the team spirit. Its about 40min drive to Sesriem Gate (they provide early breakfast with you want to leave before sunrise) for us that was totally fine. We arrived at the gate for sunrise and at Sossusvlei in time to walk up Big Daddy before the heat. Scenery and light is amazing at this time of the day. After running down the hill to Deadvlei we drove back to the Lodge to enjoy a beautiful afternoon and evening. Only downside that we just stayed 2 nights and couldn’t enjoy a whole day at the lodge. We‘ll come back, thanks again.

Le Mirage Resort & Spa is a unique desert oasis located 100 km from Solitaire, Namibia. It offers luxury accommodation and gourmet dining. Great place to stay, highly recommended! We stayed 2 nights to visit Sossusvlei. You can view the sunrise and sunset by fire place. Also possible to have balloon fly of sunrise behind the hotel, in the morning we job to the backside and go up the small hill and the view was great, at night, you can have amzing milkyway after 5 course dinner which is sunrising good and fast. We did not expect this at our first stay in Namibia, it was the best start you would wish for.

Desert Hills Glamping Camp asub Sesriemis. Kohapeal on välibassein, tasuta WiFi-ühendus, ühine puhkeruum ja terrass. Mõnel majutusruumil on einestamisnurk ja/või terrass. 100% recommended! The place itself is magical, the luxurious tents are beautiful and got everything you need. But what really stands out is the silence in this location and the TEAM. We have to point ot Sidney as one of the most helpful and welcoming "staff" we ever met on a holiday. He greeted us when we arrived and took care of everything we needed and wanted during our 2-nights-stay. But the whole team is fantastic, friendly and caring a lot. The food was insanely good and creative, the breakfast fresh, healthy and got everything you need. If you look for a place where you can really slow down and get rest but also have the chance to explore stuff - this is definitely a place to go! Thank you for making our Namibia Trip unforgettable.
