I did not expect it to be a beautiful, clean, safe place to walk around even at night. Despite the language barrier, people are nice and accommodating trying to help you with direction. I noticed that the drivers are very patient and seldom use their horn and gives priority to pedestrian. Parks and trees are everywhere. Food and stay is affordable.

The city is clean, the taxi transport system is efficient and affordable. The City is deliberate on reducing the carbon foot print. Almost all taxis are EVs. The people are very hospitable despite the language barrier. Not many speak English.

Hotel Dehlavi is the place to be if you're in Dushanbe. The building is elegant, clean and provides all the services you'd expect from a high-quality hotel (but with standard prices). The location is not far either from the airport and from the city center. The guys at the reception are extremely welcoming and always keen to provide any kind of assistance you may need. The suite is huge and has a real charme. I definitively recommended it.

Hotel is located at one of the main lighted boulevards (Ayni Street) of Dushanbe, with many luxury shops, supermarkets and restaurants (mostly fast food, with some interesting exceptions such as Cafe Moose and Massita, a Korean restaurant and French bakery/cafe).The capital seemingly has the aspiration to become the equal of Dubai in Central Asia.

Best apartment in Dushanbe and one of the best places we stayed at in Central Asia. Apartment has everything you need and is in a great location. Owner was super helpful and even helped us get a local sim. A real gem! It is in the same building as beland hotel but this place is so much better!
