Open from September 2017, The Celestine Kyoto Gion is set in Kyoto, a 10-minute walk from Gion-Shijo Station. Guests can walk to Kiyomizu-dera Temple in 15 minutes from the property. The Japanese buffet breakfast was amazing! The room was compact but nice. Love the interior with lots of hidden drawer etc. Location would have been nice to walk around in Gion if its not summer time.

Opening in March 2014, Mitsui Garden Hotel Kyoto Shinmachi Bettei offers accommodations with a modern yet traditional décor. Friendly staff, big rooms, super clean, nice hot bath. Recommended.

The option to attend services in the early morning is wonderful. The staff are wonderful, helpful, and friendly. There is an onsite restaurant, gift store, food trucks, and cafe....truly a one of a one-of-a-kind place...so so happy to have been at a conference that was held there and so was introduced to this magical place
