We had a grand water villa with a beautiful terrace, with corals and fishes at 10m going down to the sea from the terrace. The views were magnificent. The hotel spreads on 3 islands (we were on the second one, Dream - very good) with different pools, bars and activity areas, some reserved only to adults which was definitely a plus for when we wanted some peaceful and romantic time. There are plenty of restaurants that you can try (our favorite was the thai place). You need to book in advance but as we were half board and exploring restaurants for lunch and not for diner, we always found a spot while booking the day before through the app. The massage we got was amazing. Food and service at the buffet are of great quality. Water is free and available in all bars and restaurants, which we appreciated a lot (no water bottles floating around). The last island is is only for adults and is like another branch: you need a different app and you can't participate to the sport activities organized there. However, the sport activities organized by Kristina on the main island and dream were great to stay in shape during the holidays. There is an electric bus doing the back and forth between islands (take it from the start or it can be full). The snorkeling experience around the hotel and in the excursions (3 points snorkeling for us) was amazing: colorful fishes, sharks, turtles, rays, etc. The room is very large, comfortable and clean with a formidable room boy called Noor who was always smiling, attentive and preparing some decorations in the room. He was discreet and coming twice a day to the room when convenient for us. To note that when arriving at the airport, you are waiting for the boat in the food court where there are not always space to seat as all hotels use the same approach: after a long trip, this is not the favorite part but we only waited 30 to 45 min to get a boat.

It's indeed a paradise and we loved each day of it. We even kept prolonging and went from just 3 nights to 9 nights and tried all the villas ( All are worth it! We had 5days - 4nights trip at Oblu. All staffs are very helpful and friendly. Beach is very clean.They had all inclusive plus activities and transportation.. We love them all.Under our villa is the best spot for snorkeling. Assorted fishes and corals.No rains at all. At spa is just relaxing time. Assistants are easy to access. Kids club is for a family with young children. During sunset and after dinner they also have a DJ.In room mini bars and drinking water refill every day. They encourage guests and staffs to concern with the environments.Such a memorable experiences!We will choose Oblu for our next Maldives vacation.

This time, all staff and management team was exceptionally brilliant! they were welcoming, friendly and tried to make conscious effort to celebrated with us! it totally made feel like coming home!

I stayed at Cinnamon Dhonveli in a water bungalow, and it turned out to be the the best vacation I had in the last years (and I travel a lot). Tucked away from the busier parts of the island, my bungalow offered complete privacy, a wide-open view of the ocean, and a feeling of peace. It was always spotless, comfortable, and had everything I needed. What stood out most, beyond the island's natural beauty, was the people. The staff here are the heart of the island. Ren helped me through WhatsApp, supporting me with care and patience whenever I had a question or needed something. Hood took me on a great snorkeling trip. Bhagya, the hostess at the restaurant, made me feel at home with her warm presence and thoughtful attention. Sajevie prepared the most vibrant salads, always with a smile and welcoming energy. Tai worked tirelessly at the grill and pasta station, in intense heat, yet always greeted everyone with joy and light conversation. Mira, at reception, offered her time and care, making sure I felt held and supported. And my housekeeper kept the bungalow impeccably clean and fresh every day. Each of them brought something special, and I’m truly grateful. I mostly ate at Kaimala restaurant, the resort’s main buffet restaurant. The variety was excellent: from fresh salads and international dishes to regional Maldivian and Indian flavors. There was a Middle Eastern-themed night with delicious options like hummus and falafel. The pasta and pizza stations were always popular and freshly made. Breakfasts were generous, with many protein choices, eggs cooked to order, and soft, fluffy pancakes and waffles. I also loved the huge selection of desserts available every night, there was something sweet to suit every mood. Guests have unlimited access to free drinking water during the day. Maintenance team are pros! I had minor issues with an aircon in my room, and it was fixed within 30 min, they had to replace some part.

Velassaru Maldives offers luxurious beachfront and over-water accommodation with uninterrupted ocean views. Beautiful beaches with superb blue and clean water. Very nice water villa, new, beautiful and comfortable. Good beds. Tasty food from the main restaurant, good breakfast and great dinner. Very friendly staffs from the main restaurant and house keeping. Thank you! Free ice-cream every afternoon. Not too far away from the international airport, easy to reach by speedboat. Good price.
