It was tucked away and quiet but also in close proximity to just about everything. Town and beaches within walking distance. The beds were so comfortable. Stefano and staff were very attentive. We asked with help decorating and getting a cake for our niece's birthday, and they went above and beyond. We would definitely stay here again.

There were comfortable beds, great A/C, great towels and toiletries and everything was spotlessly clean. Kitchen was well eqipped. There is a lovely terrace out front with lots of chairs and a coupke of tables. We arrived before the 3pm checkin and had to come back after that, which is fine, but it seemed churlish not to allow us to park in the empty secure parking lot until that time.

If you are looking for an authentic Dominican vacation away from the throngs of tourists and away from the mayhem of urban centers, but where you also feel you have a secure oasis with access to the true nature and culture of the country, Garden Villa offers the perfect blend. It was our first time visiting the country. My wife and I travelled with our 4-year old daughter, and our experience could not have been better. This was in large part to choosing Las Galeras as our destination, and the Garden Villa as our home base. I was sad to leave, and I know exactly where I will stay when I can return.

Studios are clean, good size and with a very well equipped kitchenette. Each room is independent, with a little terrace in front. The parking is a nice plus and the location is also good as it is in the village a few minutes walking distance to the beach, close to all facilities.
