You’re able to hike up and down the mountain and see waterfalls, farms, and scenic views. The property was warm and clean, giving it a cabin feel. The host was kind and personable, so it felt like we were staying with an old friend.

Featuring a seasonal outdoor pool, Rainbow Holiday Apartments Lake Como is located in Colico, 7 km from Piona Abbey. We liked everything. The apartment was impeccable and has everything you need for a stay. Although the weather was not ideal, my kids enjoyed the pool and it was beautiful. It has an area with grills and tables which was great. And walking to the center of Colico is only 10 min. Not to mention the attention of the staff. Very friendly. Manuela was very kind, she explained everything we needed. When we left the owner came to say goodbye and ask us how everything was. I thought it was a very nice gesture too. 100% recommendable.

So many wonderful details. Christiano and Ariana were exceptional hosts. We highly recommend their sailboat tour around the lake, great company, great food, and history about the lake surroundings. Breakfast was delicious and fresh. The views from our room were stunning in 3 directions.

Our stay in Bellagio felt like a dream We found the perfect place right in the heart of Bellagio — everything was just a 1–4 minute walk away. From charming boutiques to the lakefront, it couldn’t have been more convenient. There’s a cozy little gem of a restaurant right next door called Ristoro Forma e Gusto – Pizzeria e Ristorante — hands down, the best pizza we’ve had. They still use a traditional stone oven, and the people there were just as warm as the food was delicious. It’s a 5-minute walk to the big ferry port (Bellagio Traghetto, which also takes cars), and just 2 minutes to the smaller ferry lines that cruise around Lake Como. The neighborhood is calm, loving, and peaceful — truly the kind of place that makes you slow down and savor every second. And a big thank you to David, our host — incredibly kind, helpful, and thoughtful. He made our stay even more special. If you’re headed to Bellagio, this is the place to stay.
