Our stay here was wonderful, so much so that when we came back to Hanoi after our Ha Long Bay trip, we decided to stay again. The neighborhood is great for those who want to be out of the more tourist packed Old Quarter but still close enough to be able to get to all the main attractions in about 10 min car ride ($2-3 by Grab). A lot of cute cafes and eateries in the neighborhood as well. This is a new building with modern amenities. Facilities were clean and also equipped with on site laundry machines and dryers. We felt very safe here. The main doors are locked with keycard access for guests. The entire staff speaks English fluently and were very welcoming and nice! They are very communicative and answered all our questions before we arrived. Our concierge, Celina, was particularly helpful. We wanted to see the water puppet show at Thang Long. Tickets are difficult to obtain online, so she called and helped reserve tickets for pick-up. They have an in house barista who makes coffee for guests (one complimentary a day!). My partner has very specific preferences when it comes to his coffee; the staff remembered this for the following day on their own. It felt very personal. We would definitely stay here again if we ever come back to Hanoi!

Phen Art House, Artistic Living in the Heart of Old Quarter se encuentra en Hanói, a 8 min a pie de Puerta de la ciudad vieja y a 900 metros del centro, y ofrece alojamiento con aire acondicionado,... Booked for one night… and ended up coming back after a 2-day trip because we couldn’t resist! The place is spotless (above-average clean), beautifully designed, and the beds/pillows were so comfy we basically melted into them. The shampoo and shower gel smelled amazing — like stepping into a spa — and for a night, it honestly felt like living in a castle hidden in the woods - yes, expect some hidden plants here & there. The host was super easy to communicate with, and the staff were polite, fun, and very accommodating. Oh, and the café downstairs? Dangerously tasty. Already plotting our next “castle” getaway - after this, I don't think I'll stay somewhere else in Hanoi :)

Lubi House Homestay está a 800 metros del centro de Hanói y a 4 min a pie de Ópera de Hanói. Ofrece alojamiento tienen aire acondicionado, balcón, jardín y terraza. Se ofrece wifi gratis. The room was gorgeous! Even nicer and bigger than the pictures. It’s literally a small studio apartment (bigger than where I live at home haha). We checked in late and check out early so didn’t really get to interact with the staff, but they were super responsive, flexible and accommodating! Also loved the location, right next to old quarter but not directly on the main road, so it was super quiet!

Newsky Serviced Apartment está en Hanói, a 19 min a pie de Museo Etnológico de Vietnam y a 4,1 km de Vincom Center Nguyen Chi Thanh. Great space since it has a full kitchen, washer/dryer on each floor, friendly staff. 25 meters down a small lane so its pretty quiet. Lots of places to eat nearby.

Hong Gia Tue Apartment, en Hanói, está a 11 min a pie de Templo de Quan Thanh y ofrece alojamiento con aire acondicionado y wifi gratis, además de acceso a la terraza. Excellent location! Close enough to Old Quarter but I actually preferred the vibe of the neighborhood and cafes/shops around. Such a comfy bed and the staff was beyond friendly and helpful. Also so comforting to have Netflix to watch at night, a treat since so haven’t watched TV in months of traveling!

LUMI West Lake Apartment está a 2,9 km de Museo Etnológico de Vietnam y ofrece alojamiento con terraza. Newly furnished flat that matches the pictures. The bed was quite comfortable.

You can also easily visit the famous Anthropology Museum, which is only about 10 minutes away. In addition, the manager is happy to help with booking tours, train tickets, or transfers at reasonable prices with trusted partners. Just ask, and you will always receive wholehearted support ;)
