FranceThis is a wonderful place to explore the area of Akranes. About 20 minutes off the city, settled in a beautiful landscape, the house is very spacious, very comfortable and particularly well equipped. We stayed there with our two kids and the house was more than enough. The outside hot bath is also a wonderful place to relax at the end of a good day.
Although we didn't meet them in person the hosts were very friendly and responsive to any question we had.

It was situated above the cafe which gave views across the fjord and the adjoining hills. As it was self catering, the amenities were good and a discount was offered if you used the cafe. It is situated on the edge of the town of Borgarnes, with a coastal footpath around the district, a short distance away.
