The location is perfect if you want to cover the aquarium, aircraft and submarine museums, and offcourse, the RK Beach. The guest house is just adjacent to a temple (Panduranga swamy/balaji) and you can follow everything happening there (from the common corridor of the second floor). As for the food, if you feel your options are limited, you can always order online through swiggy/Zomato. There is dispensary nearby (ARKA), a children's park, and book store, and yes the Spencer's.
