The apartment was very comfortable, with charming little details that made it feel special. It’s just a short walk from the train station, ferry, and several lovely cafes. We truly enjoyed our stay. When you open the window, you can see and hear the river and even catch a glimpse of the lake — such a peaceful view. Como is a must-visit destination. Our host, Nicolo, was incredibly kind and helpful. Many thanks to him!

I wanted to wait until I was home from my vacation to fully give my attention to the review of Varenna Sweet Home. Of all the places we stayed in this was our favourite. Atila picked us up from the train station and walked us the short distance back to the suite. Atila paid attention to all the details to make our trip special. There was a binder of information for us to utilize, wash machine and dishwasher pods for us to use as well the kitchen and bathroom were very well equipt. The pullout couch in the living room was just as comfortable to sleep on as the queen-size bed in the bedroom. We were so comfortable!! What we loved the most was the large patio area. We had a table to sit and eat at, lounge chairs, and room to hang out our laundry on the line. It was such a lovely sanctuary and we are so very grateful we stayed at this suite. Thank you, Atila! PS: thank you for the proscecco, too!

The property is fantastic, anything you think you need, this apartment has. Extremely clean and comfortable. The location is perfect only a few minutes walk to ferry port and restaurants. Host and her family are super friendly and very helpful. Would recommend this property 100%.

Best location EVER! Steps from all the shops and restaurants, just off the water, a few minutes walk to the ferry. If you want to have easy access to all the best things in Varenna and you don't need a fancy hotel but a nice clean room with a private bathroom with a cute shared kitchen this is the perfect spot! The room was a good size and was ideal for us, I could not have been happier!

We had a great experience with this accommodation. Do not be deceived by the tone of the initial message (part of it was in caps lock which might sound slightly aggressive) that you will receive, the owner/employees are all very kind and helpful and will reply promptly help with requests. The room we stayed in was spacious and had enough room for 2 big luggages. Toilet was just a few steps away and was clean and spacious for Italy’s standards. Breakfast was amazing and beyond worth it for the value we paid! A highlight of our trip! Very grateful to stumble upon such a pleasant accommodation which is not very expensive (for Varenna) and close to the train station (only had to go through 1 flight of steps). Highly recommend this place for the experience we had 👍🏻

The lake view was magnificent both at sunrise and sunset. Lovely having breakfast and drinks at the balcony and enjoying the beautiful views. Highly recommend.

Great location !! You can easily walk everywhere around Varenna and the host(s) were absolutely amazing!! I would highly recommend staying here. The restaurants are great and it’s so easy to get over to Bellagio via ferry. I would also recommend the wine shop outside the accommodation (it’s owned by the hosts) - the wine and food are delicious and there’s a huge range to try. Cookware & Dish-ware: all available, clean and new.
