Max and his wife are just great hosts, very helpful in every way. The location is great, you are really right on the beach, which is absolutely not busy, for days you don't see any tourist ever. Along with that comes that there is no restaurant nearby, but Max might lend you his bycicle, and in 5 minutes you are there. You can also ask Max, they cook for you.

Beautiful location next to a river with lots of wildlife around. Beautiful grounds to walk alround with lots of interesting statues etc .Lovely clean pool and great food. The owners were friendly and helpful. Pool surrounded by coconut trees and you can watch as the fearless coconut man climbs a tree and shimmies across the ropes from one tree to another placing pots to collect the toddy. We were given drinks to try .. delicious the food was good too especially the coconut honey . Great place to relax away from everything . The cabin was huge with seating area inside and outside to watch the squirrels running around .

Very wonderful stay, very clean, beautiful garden and pool. The host let us stay until very late evening on our departure day for free because our fight departed very late. Extremely kind.

This is beautiful family run hotel with great location close to the beach and active street with shops and restaurants but still quiet to enjoy relaxing stay. The owner and his wife were kind and helpful. The pool and surrounding area were great and well maintained. Our family really enjoyed our 3 days after long flight there. Highly recommended.

This is such an amazing, charming guesthouse! It has everything you’d need for a great stay, it’s beautiful and warm, and so welcoming! Breakfast is served on the veranda and those were some of the best scrambled eggs I’ve ever had! The bed was comfy, the water pressure great and everything was sparkling clean. There’s coffee and tea and pool towels and I’m pretty sure the owners will go above and beyond for anything else you might need. Special mention to the lovely gardens and pool - the latter was a lifesaver with the hot and humid days! What truly made my stay special were the owners. Their hospitality was unmatched—you leave feeling like you’re saying goodbye to old friends, wishing you could see them again the next morning. They couldn’t have been more accommodating, from helping with transfers to offering a late breakfast after a very late arrival, to arranging a tuk-tuk for me when I left. All in all, it was an amazing stay, and will definitely return when back in the area!
