We had been travelling for 6 weeks and this was the best place we’ve stayed at by far. We had the best time here and so much fun. The family that runs the guesthouse is lovely and take good care of you, they set up a campfire every night and will keep the bar open as long as you need. We spent all day relaxing by the river and meeting the different families that run the guest houses along the river. We highly recommend you socialize with the locals and the other guests because it makes the experience so much better! Next summer we want to come back and spend a whole week there!

Our hosts were exceptional, with an amazing breakfast each morning and one night we had dinner as well, it was delicious. Everything was local, with homemade jam, bread, and other produce. The location is amazing, the road it is on has a nice path for biking or walking. A bit of a drive down the road is Shiroka town, and access to swimming on the lake. We had an amazing stay, and wish we were there longer. I would highly recommend and would stay again. It is a short drive into Shkoder, and very quiet.

They were a muslim family and made sure we are well taken care of. Her husband even cooked halal chicken pie for us from him farm chicken. Love these guys they made us breakfast with so much love. It felt like we are living in out own home. Their hospitality is admirable

It’s farm to table dining. Homemade cheese from their goats and cow, homemade bread, jams and honey from their bees and trees, home grown chickens and fish from the lake. Mountain tea from dried plants.
