Our stay was wonderful. Our host, Anne, was kind and always willing to help, even when we asked her to raise the heating one evening! The place is in a great location, near a bus stop, a supermarket, and the sea, which was our main highlight. We loved staying close (a short bus ride) to the city centre but away from it; we visited during the holiday season, and everywhere in the city centre was crowded. The apartment is beautifully decorated and well-equipped. Anne thought of everything: besides the essentials, there were games, maps, some welcome chocolates, and a lovely small Christmas tree to cheer us up during our visit. We will certainly stay in Anne's place again on our next trip to Edinburgh.

Beautifully Renovated Self-Contained Farm Cottage - close to beaches, North Berwick and the Golf Coast is located in North Berwick, 6.4 km from Muirfield, 29 km from Arthurs Seat, as well as 30 km... Loved the unit. Nice and clean and quiet. It had everything you needed including a few coffees, snack and cleaning supplies. Loved the fireplace. So sweet and nice touch. Convenient to the train too. Just a stones throw away. Great resources for surrounding area too. Owners were top notch!

Housed in a historic building, the recently renovated Straven Guesthouse provides accommodation with a shared lounge and free WiFi. Our weekend at Straven Guesthouse Edinburgh was wonderful. There is a real homely atmosphere and connection to cultural traditions. The wonderful and helpful hosts have thought of everything a guest might need. The guesthouse is very close to the coast where people like to walk. Edinburgh city centre is within easy reach by bus. Highly recommended.

Due to our personal situation they also provided extra care and attention to detail showed how delightful the Scottish Hospitality really is.
