I was pleasantly surprised by the room quality at this property! It was even better than I expected. Everything was very clean, including the bathroom. This stay offered excellent value for money.

Hands down our favourite hotel of the trip. The villa is gorgeous, plenty of space for the 5 of us. The whoops of joy as our kids explored the place said it all! Private pool, incredible food, attentive staff, wildlife all around. On our first evening, the guides took us to the red sand beach, about a 20 minute walk away. Very beautiful. You walk past a lake with baby crocs, can spot iguanas and other wildlife. Magical. We booked a safari through the hotel, the jeep was comfortable, and very reasonably priced. They packed us a breakfast to take with. The service was outstanding. We didn't want to leave.

Located within 200 metres of Tangalle Beach and 14 km of Hummanaya Blow Hole, MENAKA HOMESTAY offers rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Tangalle. This has been the best Homestay I had in Sri Lanka so far. The level of hospitality, kindness and overall nice atmosphere, is unmatched. The location is perfect - very close to the center and beach, but hidden enough for you to feel comfortable. The rooms are simple but have everything you need. The breakfast with fresh fruit was also really good. The owners however are the main reason this place is so amazing - humble, kind, true and helpful. I only wish I stayed longer. Thank you very much!

Wonderful, very clean accommodation with the most beautiful pool we’ve experienced so far. Very friendly and family-like service, and an incredible variety of exotic wildlife, especially birds. Secluded dream beaches within walking distance (though unfortunately very rough at this time of year). Lots of restaurants just a few minutes’ walk away. A true piece of authentic Sri Lanka. Thanks also for the nice birthday surprise for my daughter! Unforgettable stay!

Located within 500 metres of Tangalle Beach and 23 km of Hummanaya Blow Hole in Tangalle, AMOUR AT TURTLE BEACH provides accommodation with seating area. I am on a 3-week trip around Sri Lanka and this has been my No. 1 highlight. Accommodation was just as advertised, if not better - great location (5 minute walk to the beach), spacious airconditioned rooms, lovely jungly surroundings and great views while sitting outside and having breakfast every morning. Peacocks, squirrels, wild parrots - to name just a few species... normal daily views/visits without even stepping outside of the garden. Incomparable peacefulness. Sri Lankan breakfast was great and kept me full until dinner. They also provide lunch and dinner, upon request. Last but not least - Ruchira, the landlord, was the best host ever. He took me around when I just arrived to show me what is where, provided valuable tips and arranged for me to go see the sea turtles lay their eggs on the beach one night. All in all - the accommodation, as well as the village and the beach, is perfect for people who, like me, seek peace and quiet. The overall vibe is homey and friendly. There is no loud music, there are no beach bars, there are no watersports - amazing.

Great accommodation really close to all the restaurants and beaches. The breakfasts were amazing and super generous. Lovely beanbags to sit outside (insect repellent provided for free should you need it!) The beds are super comfy and with everything you need. Highly recommend

Set in Tangalle, just a few steps from Rekawa Beach, Turtle Watch Cabana offers beachfront accommodation with a private beach area, free bikes, a garden and free WiFi. We really enjoyed here in Watch Turtle cabanas in Tangalle ! Our cabana was really super,,within the jungle, close tò the see and very big with a nice bath. We visited the area using motorbike, Kids did a lot of surf and enjoyed the staying having fun with the family of the host. The food was really amazing,we ate very well! We reccommend to all the families !
