A Soulful Stay at Cabañas Iracas Del Mar Tucked along the serene shores of Nuquí, Cabañas Iracas del Mar offered us a retreat that felt both restful and idyllic. From the moment we arrived, Daisy, the heart and soul of this place and the rest of the staff welcomed us with a warmth that went far beyond hospitality. Their care and attention to detail made us feel not just accommodated, but genuinely looked after. At times, we’d find ourselves chatting with the other family members and staff, sharing stories, or picking fresh fruit right from the trees in the garden. Each of us had our own cabin, and they were just what we needed spacious , comfortable, and open to the lush surroundings. The sounds of the ocean and the songs of the birds drifted in naturally. We especially loved reading in the hammocks just outside the cabins on the balconies, swaying gently in the afternoon breeze. The location is also perfect, just a stone’s throw from the beach, and close enough to town that we could walk in for lunch or dinner, but far enough that it still felt like a world of its own. Like being in a town away from the town. Our stay at Cabañas Iracas del Mar was more than just a holiday it felt like a journey into the heart of Nuquí’s natural beauty and the deep, quiet generosity of its people. If you’re looking for a place that offers both solitude and connection, peaceful rest and enriching excursions, this is a destination that truly has it all.

Popochos Beach Eco Lodge se nachází v destinaci Nuquí a nabízí zahradu a bezplatné Wi-Fi. The spot is perfect on a very quite beach. The room has everything you’d need like a balcony, hammock, and comfy bed. It is priceless waking up with the view and sound of the waves.. Hugo was quite helpful. At first we doubted if we should reserve close to Termales / Arusi area to reach attractions on foot, but overall here was much better option.

El Retoño del Negro Gozón se nachází v destinaci Nuquí a má restauraci, sdílenou kuchyň, bar, zahradu, terasu a výhled do zahrady. Utterly utterly basic. Barefoot luxury without the luxury. The wooden planks which make the walls of the huts have spaces between them for ventilation. Nothing in the room except a bed (and mosquito net), a shelf and a table. Hammocks on the verandah and the sea is right there - wonderful. You get there by small boat (with outboard motor) from Nuqui - the tourist jetty is a short walk from the airport and the people where you pay your airport tax made sure we were passed into the care of someone who saw us onto the right boat. It took 50 minutes. Wear shorts - there is no jetty and you disembark by stepping off into the water. The kitchen/dining area has a low concrete wall around it and a tin roof. The food is simple but we thought it was delicious (lots of fish - ceviche, stew and grilled). The staff are lovely - friendly and helpful, and take care to speak simple Spanish to help us understand. We enjoyed whale watching from a small boat. All very simple and undeveloped. A perfect place for blissful downtime and going to sleep to the sound of the waves. Utterly utterly wonderful!

We did a tour to Utria National park. My expectation was entering the jungle with a nature guide to look for local animals. Instead we went on a beach tour. So be sure you explaine correctly what you expect to get the right tour. The other morning we went alone on a little path behind the hotel and managed to see a group of monkeys. So there are wild animals around. For the locals they are just so normal, they don't mention them. Among the local birds are also eagles. Same thing, locals won't mention them as special, as the are regularly seen.

The owner were incredibly nice, the whole accommodation was super pretty and green! The dinner option was so delicious, I recommend to have dinner there at least once! We loved it so much

The staff and the owners are lovely people. There is a great garden area with trees and a lovely breeze. It’s situated close to the center and the docks, but still in a quiet area. It has solar power, so we didn’t really suffer from any power outages. Would recommend everyone to stay here!

The Humpback Turtle se nachází v destinaci El Valle a poskytuje zahradu, soukromou pláž, sdílený lounge a terasu. One of the best hostels I have stayed at in Colombia! The location is spectacular and on the beach. I enjoyed my morning walking along the shore. The breakfasts are my favorite meal of the day, they are different every morning and the cooks are creative with the food types and tons of flavor. So many great tours offered. We did the whale watching tour and the baby turtle release. Both were amazing and unforgettable. The staff is super friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The public kitchen was great for making meals. H ighly recommended overall.
