This is a delightful guesthouse on Islay. Fiona, our host, was very accommodating, friendly and helpful. The rooms are extremely comfortable and cosy. The little bay cabin was my favorite place I stayed on my 3 week vacation traveling thru the UK. The hostess was so friendly and helpful on things to do and see. The town of Oben was only a 3 min walk with lots of shops and restaurants. The cabin which is like a modern studio apartment with all amenities was overlooking the bay. Perfect and beautiful place to stay for a few days.

We stayed in the 3 storey villa which is exceptional. Each room is very beautifully furnished in old traditional style. The bedrooms are spacious and beddings are luxurious. The library has a huge collection of whiskeys. Great choice for breakfast and the breakfast room is lovely. Our family of 5 fell in love with this property. It’s the most memorable stay in our entire trip.

The accommodation was so comfortable, clean, and cosy. The location was great to explore the area, being close to everything we wanted to do. Katherine was so friendly and couldn’t do enough to make sure our stay was enjoyable and ensured all our needs were met. The fresh eggs provided for breakfast were delicious and such a lovely touch. The hot tub was so relaxing after a day of exploring. Our dogs also had a great time and enjoyed the outdoor space which was fenced off for them.

Unexpected amenities like washcloths, bath bombs and face masks in the bathroom, treats and snacks along with coffee and tea, and even provided milk and ice. Loved the outdoor seating area, layout of the apartment and great location for walking into town. Overall one of the best apartment rentals we've had; wish we'd had a longer stay.
