It was very nice place. I was even upgraded with the better option. Slept in a tent. There was a mosquito tent in the bed also. So it was very useful. Even though the weather before my visit was very wet, in the tent it felt dry and comfortable. There was enough space in the tent and around. It was the feeling like living in small village. The owner was very friendly and supportive. It was amazing to meet other travelers and have meals and games together. We met there New Year’s night. Had a fire and played games till the midnight to go for the new year’s bonfire. I am very thankful. The stay was amazing and the island is also very beautifully. Real nature sanctuary. If I will be back definitely come here.

Borassus Nature Huts asub Jaffnas, 8,8 km kaugusel Jaffna kindlusest ja 10 km kaugusel Jaffna avalikust raamatukogust. Kohapeal on restoran ja tasuta eraparkla. A wonderful experience here. Quite remote and next to a sleepy fishing village, the huts have been lovingly constructed using local materials. They are open to the elements, which allows the fresh ocean breeze to blow through (quite strongly at times!) and keep the rooms cool. Mosquito nets are provided, although we didn’t see any mosquitoes - but still offers protection from various bugs that visit at night, and the pesky flies during the daytime. Some of the huts have steep stairs to access the bedroom upstairs, while the bathroom and toilet are situated separately downstairs (not recommended for the elderly or disabled). However, three new huts have recently opened, that are ground level and have attached bathrooms. The whole place has been built with regard to ecological concerns. The staff (also hired locally) are wonderful and there is a very talented young chef named Ashwin who, in addition to preparing delicious meals, acts as a general manager in the absence of the owner. The property also has its own tuk tuk, which is handy for trips around the island or to Jaffna (29 km away). We would definitely recommend a stay here - it’s a totally different and unique experience, among lovely hospitable people.

The host was amazing so kind and helpful. He really made our stay amazing with an excellent sunset tuk tuk tour of the island, delicious fresh crab dinner and organising our transport to and from the port. Would highly recommend staying here, we loved it!

Apartement asub Point Pedros, Village Hotel Northern Point asub rannaäärses paigas Nilavarai kaevust 14 km kaugusel. Kohapeal on aed, terrass ja baar. Very humble and very polite Staff and they did everything to satisfy us in every ways . I would definitely select this hotel if i go there again. Super Excellent view and everything :-)

At first it was difficult to reach the place, but staff was helpful, the place itself was clean, decent Beach facing property , peaceful ,

Palm Beach Resort Ceylon asub Jaffnas, Jaffna raudteejaamast 4,6 km kaugusel. Kohapeal on aed, tasuta eraparkla, erarand ja terrass. We had an amazing time here. The rooms were modern and clean, the staff was attentive, and the beach was literally right outside our door. The on-site restaurant had great seafood options and fresh juices. It's a peaceful and scenic place great for couples and families alike.
