Hermanus Backpackers & Budget Accommodation offers accommodation close to the centre in Hermanus. It has an outdoor pool, TV lounge and billiard table. Everything was great, the host was very friendly and shared a lot of information with me. The bed was comfortable and I was able to park my car next to the back entrance, which was extremely convenient.

Located in Sandbaai, only 50 meters away from Schulphoek Bay, Schulphoek Seafront House features an outdoor pool and a garden. The stay at Schulphoek Seafront House was awesome, really great rooms, exceptionelly nice and serviceminded staff. Boasting a splendid setting between mountains and sea, this charming Provençal style guesthouse is set in the historic town centre of Hermanus, overlooking the picturesque Old Harbour. We very much enjoyed our stay in this French Provençal-styled boutique hotel. We had two rooms, both of which were extremely comfortable. The beds and bed linen were superb and the staff very pleasant and professional. There was coffee and tea in the room as well as a snack, plus a minibar and luxury toiletries. The breakfast was delicious. We can highly recommend.

Our stay at The Marine Hermanus was truly exceptional. The hotel is elegant and beautifully located, offering stunning ocean views – we were even lucky enough to watch whales right from our room, which made the experience unforgettable. The room was spacious, spotless, and extremely comfortable, creating the perfect setting for a relaxing getaway. The restaurant exceeded our expectations with delicious food and excellent presentation, while the staff were incredibly professional, welcoming, and attentive to every detail. Their warmth and hospitality made us feel genuinely cared for. Overall, everything was simply outstanding – from the breathtaking views and whale watching to the fine dining and world-class service. We would highly recommend The Marine to anyone visiting Hermanus.

The host was amazing, helping us with various request for Betty’s bay like restaurants and safe routes to drive. Also a very cute house that has everything you need, and so many nice small bonuses like that they already prepared cold filtered water in the fridge. Also perfect location, very short drive for the restaurants in one end and the stony point penguins in the other. And also the most beautiful view with the mountains. We had a perfect stay, also very much recommend the Waaygat restaurant to anyone else, it was a really great restaurant
