what’s not to like about this lovely hotel?! first of all, we liked very much the idea that it belongs to the community of Gartmore , thus giving it a sense of familiarity and warmth. rooms spacious and very clean, hearty breakfast and a nice, cozy pub to unwind! the manager of the hotel told us about the history of the place and how it ended being sold to the people of Gartmore and we will definitely return!

The house was tucked away in between two lochs and the journey there was just spectacular. The place was very homely as were the people. The rooms were clean and quiet and the breakfast was delicious. I would definitely recommend booking this listing rather than some big commercialized hotel.

Super nice host (with his little niece), breakfast simple and tasty, bed comfortable, parking no problem (we left for sightseeing after breakfast + check-out, but we could leave the car there, no problem), good start for tour to Bannockburn battlefield and stirling city. Nothing to complain really.
