Stayed at the guesthouse that really surprised me. It wasn’t much to look at from the outside, but inside, it was a gem. The staff were friendly, the room was cosy with a smart TV, and the bedding was comfy. For the price, I got way more than I expected, definitely worth the money considering the peak period. Was in Batam for a night transiting from Jakarta to Singapore; I wish I could stay longer. The guesthouse has no lift; might want to keep that in mind when booking. The surroundings have nothing much to offer except minimarts and a row of street food carts in the evening.

excellent location for easy access to everything in this area of Batam. accomodation simple but more than adequate and comfortable bedding and spotlessly clean. Very friendly and helpul staff. facilities include local tv, universal adaptor power points, aircon and wifi, own bathroom and shared small kitchen. can join yoga classes if you wish. access is down a small side street behind the Holland bakery on a main road. good coffee opposite at The Harvest. don't be detered by the street approach. well lit at night. i felt safe and secure.

Good combination of nice room, good price, situated in a nice/interesting area, and very friendly staff, keeping their price to this overall service and standard makes it a super choice. I would never think of another place to stay if I returned to Batam, which was a very nice experience for me bide away.
