This is the biggest surprise of my Indonesia trip! This place located in a small town near Malang. It runs by a family and Mrs. Mary took 2 of her independent rooms as hotel. There is super nice mountain view and the whole atmosphere is sooo chill. The room is quite big. The host even gave us some passion fruits and papaya grown from their farm. It is not far from Mt. Bromo and Tumpak Sewu - both takes 1.5h to drive there. There are hardly any tourists in this small town and when we were walking to a restaurant, the people were so curious and greeting us friendly, the kids on the street waved to us and say hello. It was such an amazing experience! The sunset of with rice field view in the small town is also really really beautiful. There is also a good and modern restaurant 20 min walk from our stay and it is designed to see the sunset with a big balcony, the food is very nice too

Abbiamo prenotato all’ultimo su booking e nonostante il pochissimo preavviso i proprietari sono stati super cordiali e molto gentili con noi. Abbiamo prenotato qui per avere un posto dove riposare per poter fare l’escursione sul vulcano la notte. Toni ci ha fornito le maschere antigas ad un buon prezzo e ci ha dato qualche dritta. Anche se siamo stati poco nella casa per quel poco che abbiamo visto tutto ottimo, la struttura era ben tenuta e pulita, acqua e te erano sempre a nostra disposizione e la colazione cucinata da loro era favolosa! Il bagno aveva all’interno un piccolo giardinetto con delle tartarughe molto molto bello. In sostanza soluzione economica perfetta con tutto il necessario per trascorrere qualche notte.

Great little homestay, very clean and super comfortable bed ! Very close to the station, so it was easy to travel to and back. Staff is lovely and attentive and will help you organise activities and day trips, as well as can recommend good places to see.

Ubicato a Ngadisari, a 11 km da Monte Bromo, Widodaren Homestay twin bed prevede una terrazza e parcheggio privato gratuito. Very convenient location. It was far enough from the main road to have a quiet night despite the unavoidable call for prayer at 4am. There are a few local restaurants close by. The owner welcomed us cheerily and gave us very good advice. He was arranging and let us keep the room until we came back from Bromo. The water was hot and the room was clean.

Posto stupendo, struttura molto bella in mezzo alla natura, famiglia molto accogliente, la signora è una cuoca eccezionale! I suoi noodles sono stati i migliori mangiati in Indonesia!

Ubicato a Probolinggo, a 11 km da Monte Bromo, PESONA BROMO Homestay prevede un giardino e parcheggio privato gratuito. Room is basic, but clean. The host was really nice and helpful, he arranged us a Bromo tour and when we came back there was a free breakfast, wich was lovely. We also ate there lunch on the day we came to the hotel. It was very delicious and cheap. This place is one of the best because it’s so close to the vulcano, that you can get longer rest before the start. It only take about 10 min with jeep to get to the starting point for the sunrise view. Great value of money. Recommended.

I had a great stay here thanks to Rohmat and Dimas who were very friendly and helpful. The guesthouse offers a transfer from/to the train station and tour to visit the Tumpak Sewu / Goa Tetes / Kapas Biru waterfalls. The room was clean and comfortable.
