The rooms are spacious, comfortable and very nicely decorated – a perfect place to relax after a day of exploring! We also want to share two personal tips for anyone visiting Riung. First: in the evening, go to Rico Rico. Even if it’s your first time, you’ll feel like you’ve known everyone forever. You can eat, have a beer and spend the night singing together with locals and travelers – a truly special experience! Second: we warmly recommend Aji as a driver and guide. We arranged our transfer from Riung to Bajawa with him even before arriving in Indonesia, through Nuna Bungalow. We had such a great time that we canceled our other transfers and traveled with him all the way to Labuan Bajo, making several wonderful stops. Aji is not only a careful and safe driver, but also a fantastic guide who will make sure you don’t miss any of Flores’ beauty, sharing stories and details about this amazing island. We even spent time together laughing and sharing Arak! If you need a driver or guide in Flores, ask the Nuna Bungalow staff about Aji! You won’t regret it.

Staff is very polite and daughter of owners is so helpful and lovely. Room is perfectly clean, free breakfast is not big enough for big guy but it is really nice bonus as snack at the morning.

Staff were very helpful, and the owners mingled with guests. Generous spaces for lounging outside of rooms. Rooms are quiet. Complimentary beverages and water.

It’s simple but clean & comfortable. Paul & Leo were so incredible kind and sweet. Paul organized a trip to the 17 islands for all the guests in the homestay, which was a beautiful day out. I was feeling sick one night and they really took care of me. They kept checking on me to see if I was okay and made sure I was well taken care of. As a solo traveler this really has an impact on me when it happens. On my last night they invited me to eat with their family and it was the sweetest thing. It truly felt like home away from home. I would 100% stay here again and if you are planning to come to Riung this is the place to stay.

Il Blue Parrot sorge a 5 minuti a piedi dal porto di Labuan Bajo, da cui in 20 minuti di barca potrete raggiungere la splendida Isola di Komodo. We chose the blue Parrot as our base to start our day trip to Komodo from here. We experienced a very warm welcome by our host. He has been very supportive and gave great advice for restaurants and organized taxi etc. The joint breakfast room offers a stunning view and the entire place was very clean, all stuff was extremely friendly. Breakfast is simple. Location is slightly uphill but in walking distance to all major points of interest in that small city of Labuan Bajo.

DejaVu Coffee and Homestay offre la vista sul mare a Magepanda e dispone di ristorante, cucina in comune, bar, giardino, terrazza e barbecue. This homestay is just wonderful. You have the beach right below for snorkelling and the hill for views and sunsets. Hari and the sisters make you part of their family from the moment you arrive. Caring and sharing, we cooked together and share time and laughter. We stayed 2 nights and wish we could spend more! Just genuinely kind people...

If you’re hesitating about booking it or not – don’t. Book it while it’s still available. This is a brand-new place with fresh, clean renovations, surrounded by palm trees, just a 10-minute ride from Nembrala and a 5-minute walk to a beautiful beach. The room has air conditioning and a great bed. The host is happy to help with arranging transfers and can provide a scooter with a surf rack. All communication is done via WhatsApp. The booking price includes magical and delicious European breakfasts. There’s also a kitchen available. If I had the chance, I would have stayed for a month!
