We had an amazing stay at Har's place. The location is nothing short of dreamy, with amazing views of the valley hills just in front. Har has constructed all the houses (I recall around 3-4 now) by himself, you can check on his IG for more detail on how he built them! All of them are really comfortable and unique, following the local architecture, blending with nature and each of them providing a different experience. Har is an expert and consultant on organic farming and produces his own veggies that he uses to cook the most fantastic breakfasts you will ever have, super yummy and different everyday, with the plus of overviewing the views directly from your stay. Don't forget also to order dinner from him, much better than eating anywhere else, every meal was amazing. Har always went the extra mile to make us feel comfortable, showed as around his plantation (he plants to reforest the area with a thousand fruit trees!) and the best: he gave us the best tips on the island, pointing spots that are not even in Google Maps and ready to explore. Think on pristine waterfalls, empty beaches, beautiful local villages, hills, etc. Please visit Har and Sumba before it gets ruined by the evils of mass tourism, and please visit with an open mind, it's raw, wild, authentic, and that's why is missing facilities compared with other destinations, but that what make it so unique and special. Morinda Villa and Resto se encuentra en Waingapu y dispone de jardín, terraza, restaurante y wifi gratis en todo el alojamiento. El alojamiento está situado en un punto perfecto para disfrutar de unas vistas de las colinas y el río. Es un sitio súper tranquilo y en medio de la naturaleza. En general el sitio merece la pena, te ofrecen opciones de comida a bastante buen precio y el personal es muy servicial.

Oro Beach Houses está en Weetebula y ofrece vistas al jardín, jardín, zona de playa privada, salón de uso común, terraza y restaurante. Such a great place to stay once you arrive in Sumba. The team were all amazing. We loved how relaxed it was.

LOPE HOMESTAY se encuentra en Ndangu, en la región de Sumba, y ofrece alojamiento con parking privado gratis. Todas las unidades disponen de aire acondicionado y TV de pantalla plana.
