Massimo, Arianna and family arw amazing. They coordinated and accomodated our need for an early checkin. Communication is exceptional. This is a lovely well situated apartment in the heart of Cannobio. We did self checkin from a received video, which helped guide us through the necessary steps upon arrival. They greeted us before we departed from our short stay and their sincere warmth made us wish we could stay a bit longer and share a bit of time with them. The apartment is impeccably clean, thoughtfully/masterfully laid out and supplied with all you require in a beautiful compact space with solid fixtures and just super well appointed. We used the refrigerator to store some cheese we were transporting. There were two sparkling waters in the refrigerator provided gratis, which hit the spot upon arrival. There was coffee capsules for espresso, as well as a variety of teas. The place is compact, yet feels spacious. I could imagine staying here on business or on leisure. The hosts recommended some places to eat and we felt if we had the need that they were always there for us. Understated, yet classic Italian warmth and hospitality. Modern ammenities in a historic Cannobio building with a shared and gated/enclosed courtyard area for those that want to take in the nearby outdoors in nice weather. Highly recommended for so very many reasons! Book with confidence and stay in beautiful Cannobio longer than we did. Among the very best in its class! Enjoy!!!

The accommodation provides luggage storage space and room service for guests. Our stay at Rivalago was a delight. We were made to feel welcome from the moment we arrived until we left with a heavy heart. The hotel has been designed beautifully, a good size bedroom (6) with a wonderful view and a large and very functional bathroom. Matteo and his staff were all excellent and the location is ideal in Cannobio, at the quiet end of this charming town.

Staff were wonderful before and during our stay. Good communication and very helpful. Breakfast was plentiful with lots of choice. Fresh and locally sourced where possible. A delightful, tranquil location interrupted only by chimes from the bells from the local church (stops at night!), birdsong and cuckoo calls. Gignese has bars, cafes and restaurants and is within walking distance. Stresa with its lakeside promenades, shops and many restaurants is 15-20 minute drive away.

The room and the bathroom are spacious and equipped with everything you need. At night, it was so dark and quiet in the room, that I had the best sleep of my holidays. The breakfast was delicious and more than enough. The pool is big enough to swim and also very clean. The floating couch is so comfortable, I could have spent my whole vacation on it. There are many interesting things to visit around, all main attractions of the area are nearby, but you need a car. The owners are extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful. They make you feel like home immediately. I hope to come back one day. Mille Grazie!
