Gihan and his wife truly care for all of their guests, looking after their wellbeing and also allowing for independence and privacy. It felt to nice to be well cared for, especially when traveling alone. Gihan can help arrange tours and activities and will take you himself in his Tuk Tuk when available. They have bikes for hire and I enjoyed riding all around Anuradhapura a couple of times. Their food is amazing! In the past they owned a restaurant and it shows. A huge variety and the best food I’ve had in Sri Lanka. I am gluten intolerant and they were very accommodating to my diet. You can tell they care a lot about their business, investing in it and caring for their clients. Extend your stay, you won’t regret it. There’s much to see In Anuradhapura and you’ll not want to leave Corner Cottage.

It’s very calm and peaceful. The house is also very clean and spacious. The caretaker, Sadi (I hope I spelled the name correctly), is a super nice guy and always ready to help. He makes staying here even more special. Overall, I would highly recommend to stay here. It is also possible to organize a safari trip. The price seems fair, and the driver will pick you up directly from the house. I was very satisfied with how well it was organized.

Wilpattu Mookalan Resort se nachází v destinaci Habawewa a má zahradu, nekuřácké ubytování a bezplatné Wi-Fi. Jen 39 km odtud je Kumbichchan Kulama Tank. Excellent location, few steps from the gate of the National Park! Room was very comfortable and very clean. Bed was super comfortable too and mosquito net provided. Air con was a welcome relief from the heat. Bathroom was also spacious and clean, hot water was great. The owner was the sweetest man, his nephew messaged to ask if I wanted dinner, I declined, but the owner knocked on my door to give me fruit and ice cream so I wouldn’t go hungry at night. So sweet! His nephew also provided me with a welcome drink and even took me on the safari. Highly recommend doing the safari with them, they were the most affordable and they really considered what animals I wanted to see and tried their best to find them. The breakfast, lunch and snacks were so good! I was very well fed! They were very accommodating to me and really put in effort to help me when my card had issues. I will definitely stay with them again.

Je prostorné, nově zařízené a na klidném místě. Hlavní přednosti je skvěla sekomunikace s majitelem Pomůže vám se vším, co potřebujete. A navíc přidá vlastní tipy a rady.

Sapphire Garden Hotel poskytuje restauraci, venkovní bazén, zahradu a terasu. Pidurangala Rock se nachází 13 km odtud. Na místě je k dispozici soukromé parkoviště a dostupné je také bezplatné Wi-Fi. The owners, Leo and Wanda, couldn’t do enough to help our stay go smoothly. They helped shape are itinerary and suggestions additions that were fantastic, eg Sri Lankan dance show at the cultural centre, organising a fabulous yoga teacher, as well as great safari. Relaxed and happy vibe to the place with lovely pool area.

It’s very rustic and simple. AC is very functional. There were a few hiccups, but the outstanding staff addressed everything immediately. Everything I tried on the menu was delicious. There isn’t a lot to do in Habarana, but it’s a great location to stay if you want to visit the cave temple, Sigiriya, Miniriya and Polonnaruwa. The first three are less than 30 mins away. Polonnaruwa was a fast hour.

The guest room upstairs is very spacious and tidy. The balcony is a lovely place to chill out in the evening. The host’s cooking is fabulous. We had both breakfast and dinner and throughly enjoyed it. We also had our laundry done promptly. We parked our rented tuk tuk safely in the front garden of the Sweet Home. All was sweet and sound! Anuradhapura Railway Station je 4,2 km daleko.... A really nice place with a beautiful family that is caring about their guests a lot! The rooms are big and clean, the shower as well as the AC was really good! Also the pool was clean and refreshing :) The breakfast and dinner was amazing and different every day - really worth it. We got a little cold and the whole family cared so much for us, even made a fresh veggie soup and didnt even charge for it! Thank you Mama Anuradhapura and family 🧡

Pearl House Resort se nachází v destinaci Anuradhápura a poskytuje ubytování s zahradou, neplaceným soukromým parkovištěm a sdíleným loungem. Attikulama Tank je 600 metrů daleko. Jídlo od hostitele bylo pestré a výborné. Vždy něco nového. Byli jsme rádi, že nabízejí místní dobroty a vždy bylo dost jídla. Při brzké návštěvě safari jsme snídani odložili až na poledne po návratu.
