I stayed in Nirvana Kuti following the recommendation of Linda, a wonderful woman that I met in Delhi airport. She was indeed accurate: Nirvana Kuti is such a beautiful accomodation, comfortable, clean and pretty new. It was easy to feel home. Besides the comfort of the room, with a big, warm bed, with views to the temple just in front of the house, it is located just a few steps from Durbar square, in a very calm street. I slept extremely well and woke up to the beautiful views. Life is magical and I met Bobby, the owner of Nirvana Kuti, even before my stay. He kindly offered me a ride to Nirvana Kuti, and he made it very easy for me to feel home. Even more, he also allowed me to stay a bit longer because my bus was leaving in the evening. I appreciate Bobby's kindness and the beautiful taste in which the house is built. It is both comfortable and stylish, and the location couldn't be better. Thank you Bobby for making of my last days in Kathmandu (for this time) a beautiful experience and see you next time ♡

He personally guides his guests, free of charge, through the winding alleys of the historic city, revealing the hidden gems of the area and introducing them to local delicacies. His guesthouse also has a welcoming atmosphere that truly feels like home. In the evenings, the living room transforms into a gathering spot where travelers from all over connect and share stories. If you’re traveling alone or want to experience Bhaktapur from a local’s perspective, Shekhar’s Shared Home is the perfect place.

Santosh and all the staff were super friendly and helpful. I really appreciated all the advice I received in terms of trekking. I was even able to store my bags here while I was in the mountains. The welcome masala tea was delicious. The shower was hot and I never had to wait to use the toilet. I would recommend staying here before or after your trek.

Additionally, the availability of reliable Wi-Fi great for WiFi junket and hot showers is consistently praised. The location, while peaceful, remains conveniently accessible to other areas of interest. emphasize the good value for money, free drinking refill center ,travel desk for ask question and free cup of hot tea .bed is comfy and beautiful Colour and beautiful local art and mountain photo in room.

Shailendra and his wife took excellent care of our group, especially when I was sick. This was my second time staying there and I would be thrilled to be able to visit again.

Excellent value for money. Helpful staff. Strong hot water shower. IF this Guesthouse weren’t owned by the Nunnery next door and staying here helps fund them, I would gate-keep this info to ensure easy room availability in the future!
