Attractive, comfortable lodgings in a beautiful waterfront location. It is in walking distance to the town of St Andrews in one direction and some pleasant walking trails in the other. The owners were very helpful. We enjoyed this, our second stay, and we will return.

I believe that even when you decide to go far from home and want a bit of a change from the everyday, you still want the comfort and warmth of home. That's exactly what my friend and I felt. The two hosts made us feel so welcome, we immediately felt like members of the family. Always available if we needed anything and super open to talk to us/recommend things. Their story with Montague Rose Inn is very inspiring, the place is beautiful and perfectly located. We hadn't even left that we wanted to book to come back during the summer. It was very clean and the room was huge! The owner brought us to our room and showed us around and how to use the shower. Every morning there was a fresh breakfast (and different for each morning)! It is right downtown so we could park and walk to everything. There is a small parking lot as well as street parking, we never had any issue finding a place to park. There is also outdoor seating if you would like to enjoy the outside. The inside and outside is also beautifully decorated!

Oh, we're so glad that we found this awesome, cozy place in a wonderful location in St Andrews. Actually, we wanted just a place to stay for doing a whale watching trip, but the house ended up being a big win, too. It is absolutely perfect equipped, i.e. the outside whirlpool and the gas fireside. The rooms are spacious, and the furniture and the decoration are elegant and tasteful. The owner provided any services immediately, for example, when we wanted to extend our stay by one night. Hopefully we can manage to come back again.
