Spotlessly clean and well appointed. Rooms were spacious and the kitchen fully equipped with everything we needed. The village is quiet and quaint but has a couple of good pubs and a great cafe that is open for breakfast, lunch & dinner.

The effort that went into making it extremely homely and comfortable. The attention to detail even down to the dog bowl, blanket and a lovely hamper and cheeseboard. The property had everything you would need for your stay and even if you’ve forgotten something I’m sure they have it covered! The local pub was minutes walk away and provides a lovely selection of food and drinks. Will definitely be staying here again.

We had a wonderful stay at Squirrel Barn in the Cotswolds! The location is excellent, nestled in a lovely little village with everything you could need: a pub, a shop & cafe, even a church and a school. It was the perfect base to explore the surrounding area. The cottage itself was spotlessly clean and very cosy. The beds and pillows were incredibly comfortable, we all slept really well. The kitchen was well equipped, and we were warmly welcomed with a thoughtful complimentary hamper including eggs, milk, chutney, oil, tea, coffee, sugar, and some logs for the wood burner, which was a lovely touch. Check-in and check-out were super smooth. There was plenty of on-street parking close to the cottage. The back garden was delightful and caught the morning sun (weather permitting, of course). The shower had good water pressure, toiletries were provided. The Wi-Fi was stable with fast internet, good enough for getting a bit of work done and running meetings. Overall, a truly relaxing and comfortable stay. I’d definitely recommend this cottage and would love to return in the future. P.S. We didn’t see any wood lice, in case that’s a concern. Everything was perfectly clean.

Lovely kitchen with Aga stove, great location for walking to local shops. The fireplaces were lovely and the charm of the house as a whole was grand. With the sudden snow fall everything became very picturesque. Lots of useful tips around the house from wireless to plumbing which were very useful.

It was very well designed — artfully done, and had a rustic beauty to it, especially considering its 350 year history. The Thai restaurant downstairs was absolutely brilliant - generous and delicious food. So was the packed breakfast the day we checked out.

    Century House is a stunning cottage in the little village of Moreton-in-Marsh. It is walking distance from the train station and the town center. Upon arrival we immediately noticed how beautifully the cottage was prepared, even the table was set very nicely. The kitchen has everything you need. The bedrooms and bathrooms are gorgeous and clean.

    It was the best holiday home we've ever been to! Every detail has been carefully considered, cutlery, bedding, towels and toiletries, including small things, like the logs for the fireplace and matches - the hosts even left a welcome basket for us of local goodies. The environment is charming, historic details have been carefully maintained and one could read about the history of the house. We will certainly visit again!
