The place is great for families! Clean and tidy, very well prepared. You have everything that you need to spend great time with your kids and friends. The garden is amazing, many toys for outdoor and indoor for the kids. The host is very nice and friendly. Unfortunately we had not so much time to enjoy the place, but it is amazing. For sure we will be back. I recommend it. Enjoy. Thank you again Peter.

The breakfast is absolutely perfect, consisting also of local products, absolutely fresh pastries, croissants, sweet pastries, savory pastries, dried ham, homemade marmalade, various yogurts, slices of melons and much more, all simply fresh :-) The place has an amazing genius loci, it's a perfect symbiosis of new and old, the owners are amazing, the whole family :-)

Our stay was fantastic, even if it was just for one night. The landlady was incredibly welcoming and attentive, the room was spotless and comfortable, and the amenities were top-notch. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. All building was nice cold on a very hot summer day. Not just the house, but even the very yummy breakfast had certain rural character.

We had a wonderful stay at Sarffy House. We were charmed by the beauty of the place, the calm atmosphere, and its unique character. It offers great value for money. A big plus is the all-day access to the self-service bar with coffee, tea, and water – free of charge. This is especially convenient and welcoming for guests who have just arrived or are resting after a journey. The pool is atmospheric, clean, and pleasantly warm, making it a perfect spot to relax. The rooms are full of character and simply but thoughtfully arranged, with everything you need – a fridge, spacious wardrobe, air conditioning, table, armchairs, a comfortable bed, and direct access to the garden. What truly stood out was the warm welcome and the kind, helpful staff. We felt genuinely cared for. As we were about to embark on a long journey, we were offered a small but meaningful gesture of care, which reflected the host’s attentiveness and kindness. We are truly grateful for it. Still, even without this gesture, the stay itself would have been excellent. Breakfast was very good, with a choice of eggs – scrambled, poached, or boiled – and everything else you might need in the morning, served during convenient hours. Sarffy House is a perfect place to rest and recharge – a peaceful retreat with a welcoming atmosphere. It’s also a great base for cycling trips, visits to Lake Balaton, or exploring the nearby vineyards. There are also excellent local restaurants in the area, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Thank you for a lovely stay – we look forward to coming back!
