Staying at Mandavys honestly was the greatest experience in my trips. We had the most wonderful stay here. The family was so kind and welcoming to us. We arrived during Diwali and were given opportunities to participate in the Sikkimese celebrations in the quaint town of Darap. The food was healthy, nourishing, and delicious. The chai was some of the best we had, it was such a joy to sit on the comfortable seating outside our cottage that overlooks the valley and Darap. Mr Shiva arranged a wonderful half day local guide to take us into the valley and villages to explore the native flora and culture. We would wholeheartedly recommend this homestay.

Excellent in all aspects. The view and food were very nice. The staff and homestay owner's behavior were excellent. Had an excellent stay there for 3 nights.

Lovely room, huge bed, very comfortable. Comfy settee and chairs. Lovely balcony, with views over the garden and towards the mountains, although cloudy whilst we were there. Breakfast served in the garden, lunch and dinner served in the dining room, just for us, since we were the only guests present during our time there. All was delicious. Attentive host, gave us a tour of the farm, suggested other places of interest. Our driver stayed in a place nearby.

Beautiful property, great views and amazing staff. Were were there for less than 20 hours and they made us feel like family, invited us into their house to keep us warm with the fire and just the true Sikkim hospitality at it's best.
