UzbekistanWe lived in this house for 2 months and it was a great time. The hosts and assistant were very responsive, helping with all issues, including making an appointment with a doctor and urgently purchasing sunburn creams. They provide a bike for rent and you can rent a car with a driver (for example, go to Tagana-an or distant beaches) for very reasonable money.
The house is located in a village where very friendly people live, many understand English and can speak it. You can also get to Surigao city by tricycle from the main road (5 minutes walk to the road) in 7-10 minutes. Shopping centers, fruit and fish markets, and the airport are close, a 10-minute drive from the house. Fruits and fish can also be bought on the road. There are kiosks in the village where you can buy eggs and snacks.
The house has everything you need: refrigerator, washing machine and dryer, 2 air conditioners, small appliances such as a toaster, rice cooker, hair dryer. There is a dispenser with cold water and hot water (water is delivered).
The house is spacious, cozy and stylish. There is a veranda with furniture and a TV where you can relax.
Because of there can be a poor pressure or lack of water in the region, there is a pump that always provides water and this does not create any problems. There are no problems with electricity (it was turned off once in 2 months for a couple of hours). The Internet is great, fast and problem-free (there was a failure for a couple of hours once in 2 months).
Special thanks for the entertainment in the house: board games, Google speaker, TV and karaoke station. We really enjoyed singing! because Filipinos love to sing, you will often hear someone singing in the village.
As it is written in the description of the house, of course, there are small ants in the kitchen area, so you need to constantly keep the kitchen clean and wash the surfaces so that they do not come in often. There are also small spiders that are harmless to humans.
