The house is modern, very attractively designed and laid out. Our room was light, spacious and very comfortable, with the added extra of the jacuzzi /hydromassage tub. The staff, including Inês the receptionist and the two ladies who prepared and served the excellent breakfast, were all very friendly and welcoming. Although the location was central, parking was easy and convenient.

Quinta da Terrincha is located on the upper Douro region. The 300-hectare property features an outdoor swimming pool and vast vineyards.

The pictures do not do it justice. This property and the surrounding area was JAW DROPPING! I saw one of the best sunsets of my life right from my room. The sun dipped behind the mountains bathing the surrounding valley and vineyards in mango orange, it was absolutely beautiful. The quinta itself was so lovely with lots of walkways to take in the fresh air and the surrounding landscape. There was a little waterfall, a lake, and some swings around the property. This is a place you go to relax and refresh your mind. The size of the room was really nice and breakfast had plenty of options. The restaurant is also really good! I had a wonderful steak with some of the wine from the quinta. And I loved the wine so much I bought bottles for loved ones. Everything was really chic and beautiful. I would definitely come back!

This experience was a treat. What an hospitable and professional couple! Lovely accommodation. Comfortable, tasteful and clean. Good shower pressure. Fresh linen. The Quinta is situated in a quiet spot, yet close to the Ecopista do Sabor, ie. the hiking and bicycly path that runs through the valley for 35 kilometres. This makes the Quinta an exceptional place if you want to explore the surroundings. Angelo and his family are very hospitable. We could use their bikes, and in the morning the even had fresh cake for us. Very lovely hosts! The room was very good as well: a comfortable bed, the bathroom had all the toiletries you need, and there was a coffee maker, microwave and some bread so you could have a good breakfast.
