Dar Hamouda is a charming historical dar in the best and liveliest part of the Medina of Tunis. The rooms are beautifully decorated, the bed very comfortable, and the bathroom modern. The hosts (Mrs. Amel and her husband) were wonderful and very helpful. We particularly liked the joint breakfast where you could meet and talk to other guests at the dar. This is always a good opportunity to exchange experiences and meet people when travelling.

We loved our stay at Karims appartment. It's located in a local neighbourhood on top of a family house, where it has a big roof terrace and some nice views over the roofs of La Goulette. This view we enjoyed very much :-) The appartment is well equipped and really safe. And the best thing was, that Karim was super hospitable, there was great communication and he did everything to make us feel at home :-) It's a short walk to both Carrefour and to the TGM train, that can take you directly to Sidi Bou Said or Tunis.

Everything 😊. Beautiful building and room, wonderful hosts (we were welcomed with fresh juice and snacks) in a very centraly located hotel. The freshly made full breakfast alone a reason to stay here. We ended up staying longer than planned. Ahmed, the host, and the lady helped us every step of the way, exceptionally friendly. The rooms are cleaned every day, with fresh towels etc. We will definately come back om a next trip.

The place is beautiful, very central in Medina but still close to a car pickup place in a bigger street. All the souks, restaurants, street food you can possibly need. The terrace is very nice, breakfast is very good and my advice is take it to the terrace and enjoy the morning sun. But the BEST were the STAFF, so nice, helpful that they make your stay go to another level. Love you guys!

Location: this is a newly build residential area, with incredible choice of cafes, restaurants, grocery stores etc. Location a bit far from center, but taxi ride was not expensive. We stayed there on our second night, choosing a hotel in center for our first night. Wouldn't think twice of booking Dar Kmar for the whole stay in Tunis next time. Everyth open longer hours than in center, felt completely safe, no problem with getting a taxi or finding parking space if required. Host was friendly, accommodating and helpful.

    An outstanding villa with historical features, a very nice garden and a big pool. The spacious apartment on the second floor is spotless, furnished and decorated in the best way. With a great living area, separate dining area and kitchen, two bathrooms it really fits 6 people in a comfortable way. There are at least two excellent restaurants nearby.
