Cylia and all the staff were fantastic and made sure we didn't miss anything! We are two young women and we stayed at the Ruhija Gorilla Guest house for one night and then tracked with the gorillas the next day but we would have stayed longer! Our room was fantastic, spacious, clean and with two big comfortable beds. The dinner they cooked for us was great and Cylia is careful to fulfil your every wish. Before dinner we visited the village (an experience not to be missed) we met the local people and visited the school and the orphanage; all the people are extremely kind. Wonderful staff, especially Friday who is extremely kind and welcoming. Great restaurant which affordable prices (even for backpackers). Amazing place for relaxing without internet connection. Nice place to swim and sunbathe. Basic but good rooms. People complain about the hot shower costing extra but you got a loooooot of super hot water for 1usd so it was literally the best shower ever and so worth it. The room prices are very reasonable for this experience.

This place is the ultimate place to explore the beauty of Lake Bunyonyi. The view from the patio is breathtaking, and the Villa is well equipped with everything you need. I truely enjoyed the atmosphere during our stay, as it feels as if you are on your own planet, as there is just you and the incredible beauty of the lake and its nature, as you overlook the whole scenery. Could have spend all day just sitting there and enjoy the beauty of it all. Pure joy.

Me and my wife had a really nice stay at Makanka Hill Suites. A new and posh house in a quiet place. Spaceous and clean rooms with refreshments. We were served nice breakfast. They also organized a day trip for us to the amazing lake bunyonyi. Thank you very much for your hospitality and some great days.
