We are so glad we chose this homestay for our trip to Moc Chau. The hosts are so friendly and made us feel very welcome, like a home away from home. The house itself is beautiful and the surroundings very peaceful. We enjoyed the food at dinner time and also the coffee and breakfast in the morning... Nhung makes delicious pancakes! She also made me ginger and lemongrass tea when I was feeling unwell. We also enjoyed a wonderful trek through the surrounding villages with Dung. Thank you for your hospitality!

Hoa Phong homestay is one of the best places to spend a night or two in the beautiful and peaceful village of Ta So. Of course, one shouldn't expect luxury but the facilities are excellent considering that this is a remote village high up in the mountains of north western Vietnam. Apart from the facilities, another thing that impressed me and my wife is the friendliness of the host, A Hang, and his wife, Y Hoa. He spoke good English and was more than ready to help us arrange a taxi to fetch us from town (and back to town) and assisted us to communicate with our transportation provider to Hanoi (note that English is seldom understood in that part of Vietnam). He also took us around his village and gave us a glimpse of the villagers' life. Oh, and not to forget, we enjoyed the delicious dinner and breakfast his family prepared for us. Truly a great place to visit if one is looking for something different from the usual tourist spots in northern Vietnam.

Since my first steps at the entrance Mr.Anh was there for me and my needs: medications, fixing a motorbike mirror, advice, routs on the map, booking a bus. He was always there. It exceeded my expectations. My favourite was our talks without any rush. Mr.Anh has unbelievable collection of audio systems from 70-80-90-00 which is the part of decoration. Personality of the owner is a lot, really. Very nice and homey - design of hotel, big kitchen for guests. Lots of good quet music on the first floor, there is a terrace to look at mountains and dark night sky full of stars. Amazing. Moc Chau surprised me with this place. I would love to come again with my family and bring Mr.Anh a vinyl record and few CDs for his collection.

Very quiet, beautiful garden. Location is remote but they can get you in touch with a limousine service that will pick you up at your hotel in Hanoi and drop you off at the door of the hotel for a price similar to the line buses to Moc Chau. It's really convenient. It is also possible to rent a motorbike at the hotel to drive around.

    Nordic Village was everything we could've hoped for - it's tucked away in a pine forest in the middle of the Vietnamese countryside and I swear the temperature drops 15 degrees and all humidity is gone as soon as you step onto their grounds. The cabin was incredible and the bathroom was stunning with the huge stone bathtub and large window looking out into the forest. They made us dinner every night and the food was some of the best we had on our whole trip. Don't book anywhere else, this is the best place we've ever stayed.

    Charming and quiet. Nice gardens with flowers. The villas were also very pretty. Full length glass windows and door allows for the room to be bright and one can look at the beautiful garden outside.
