The guesthouse is located within such beautiful gardens. Seems so secluded and peaceful yet still close to Tzaneen Town. The host was absolutely amazing and friendly and made us feel so welcome. The rooms are stunning, calming, and of the highest quality. The attention to detail from the welcome drinks to the bedside chocolate and all the amenities is first class. The Magnolia Bistro o site has the most delicious food and the view from the deck is gorgeous. Definitely will have to visit there soon again. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

The staff was friendly and welcoming, the room is clean and neat and the garden is refreshing and very quiet environment , exactly what I needed to deal with year end fatigue. I liked the breakfast, served at exactly at the requested time and the fruits salad was amazing. Definitely coming back soon

    The host Pierre Welthagen, is fantastic. He went out of his way to make us welcome. The room is spacious and we loved that the bathroom was separate. The shower is GREAT and big. The air conditioner is fantastic and we really needed it. It is very close to the supermarket (1 km away) and within walking distance from a lovely pizzeria. We will definitely go back there next time we visit our friend who is 1.2 km away from Douglas Villas.

    I had a superb stay at Douglas Villas. Pierre is a very friendly host, and the breakfast was devine. The location is excellent and close to the Mall. I will definitely make use of Douglas Villas in future.
