This property is absolutely amazing, and Becky is an exceptional host! From the moment we arrived, she went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and equipped with all the essentials for a perfect stay. Becky’s hospitality truly made a difference—her attention to detail and warm, welcoming and understanding nature made us feel right at home. York Lodge is made of charming English bungalows (with modern amenities) in a lush green compound. Our compliments to Margot the owner for developing such a beautiful property with a blend of foliage (old trees and new plants and green islands) It was like staying in a botanical garden. Lounging on the broad verandahs, hearing sounds of birds and insects in the air conditioned temperature of Harare was bliss. The bungalows have modern amenities and this really helped us unwind!

Location was excellent in a very quiet neighbourhood and the bonus was having a security guard onsite overnight which made us feel more comfortable. Breakfast was ok, maybe in the future they could offer more choices for vegetarians. The staff went above and beyondto make sure that we had everything we needed. Sisi Fari and Sarah were very professional and I would stay here without a doubt when back in Harare. This was truly a home away from home. And thank you to Samira as well, absolutely exceptional host.

This is a home not a lodge. I felt very welcome and travelling with a 2 year old the staff made it easy for me and comfortable. The lodge arranged my airport pick up which was very smooth and organised.
