Lovely fireplace, apartment warms up pretty well and the beds were nice and comfortable. It was a comfortable home away from home. Host was easy to communicate with. Parking at the front of the house made for easy access carrying our luggage up the stairs. I could have easily stayed here a night or two longer.

It was a very hot day, so being able to jump in the pool to cool off was much appreciated. The house is gorgeous inside - vintage furnishings. Dave and Jill were very sweet hosts, we wish them well :-) Breakfasts were quite nice - especially the mixed fruit and pastries every day and the poached eggs on alternate days. Jill was kind enough to let us store in a cool space the 3-4 cases of wines that we'd collected during the previous week's wine touring. Dave is quite knowledgeable and discussed quite a bit of history with us - a lot of fun. The room was lovely, and the bed was comfortable. Very quiet and peaceful. Cute and friendly outdoors dog....
