Housed in a building dating from 1908, this homestay is 19 km from Grindelwald Terminal and 22 km from Giessbachfälle. The homestay provides garden views and a picnic area. Location: Perfect It was nice to be able to buy groceries at the nearby Lidl and Migros and cook meals, and the accommodation was warm and cozy even though it was a rainy winter. The owner was very attentive and left English guides everywhere to make sure you had everything you needed, which was very helpful.

Towels and bed linen are offered in the holiday home. The property has an outdoor dining area. Great Location, calm area, 2 mins distance to bus stand, grocery store. View of the mountains from balcony was wonderful. To reach the place, most efficient way is to get the Bus No. 105 from Interlaken West station & drop at Matten b. I. Gsteigstrasse, it is a 1 min walk or you may take Bus No. 104 from Interlaken OST station & drop at Matten b. I., Mattenstrasse then 1 min walk (follow the google map). Very comfortable beds and maximum 6 people can accommodate comfortably. The only problem is that it have only 1 bathing area (with WC) & 1 separate WC which is a bit issue (those who preferred bathing in the morning). However all other amenities are exceptionally good. You get a full fledged kitchen. Our stay was WONDERFUL!!!
