The room is fantastic!! It's really spacious, and it has a super nice swing in the room as well. Location for me was great.. still close to the centre, but during night, it's quiet. For 8 to 10rmd you can find a taxi to the centre or back. David and Kate are wonderful people and are super friendly. They helped me out a lot and answered all the questions I had. I also rented a bike for 30 rmd.

Nicely designed, with remnants of old house deliberately kept to retain a bit of history. Interior is very clean with comfy beds and room layout. The owners were very friendly, welcoming and helpful in making our trip such an enjoyable and memorable one! We really enjoyed our stay here and would love to be back!

Longji Terrace La vie Inn ligt in Longsheng in de regio Guangxi, op 8 km van de rijstterrassen van Ping en op ongeveer 40 minuten lopen van het rijstterras van Jinkeng. Longji terrace Lavie hotel has great location and the views are amazing. employees are super friendly. the airconditioned rooms are large with balcony, the food is excellent and affordable (menucard has western and chinese and local food), kids like dumplings and french fries. all the other food was delicious. it is easy to walk to viewpoint westhill and also thousand layer terraces. we also went hiking to pingan. we found the houses in Dazhai much cleaner an comfortable than in pingan. the hiking is nice to to. our kids were 12 and 10. we walked 5,5 hours/17km. If you arrive by car/taxi there are two main roads, new road or the road via large parking place dazhai. take new road to hotel, much quicker and comfortable. if you go to Longji, i advice Dazhai and especially the Lavie hotel in Dazhai.

Accommodation is completely authentic Dong Village guest rooms, plus excellent air con, showers, beds etc. Really thoughtful and high quality renovation, maintaining all of the local features whilst also providing great comfort. Helpful and smiley hospitality provided by Xiao Chen with quality breakfasts and coffee for those who need the morning surge. It is such a beautiful area. The villages have retained their historic feel and there is some truly gorgeous hiking through a nearby valley with rice terraces and tea plantations. Local people are genuinely welcoming and friendly and there is great food to be had in the local family restaurants. This was my second visit. I will undoubtedly return.

Lovely Asian style family room on the top floor, fantastic location in the old area, with lovely views and backs onto the Li River. Very friendly lady who speaks English and is extremely helpful with great local advice. Loved the terrapin, cat and dog! Delicious breakfast included - lovely to have eggs, bacon and toast as well as fruit and yogurt after weeks in China. Also a delicious Asian breakfast on offer.
