Our family travels nearly half the year, across continents and lodging types, and NEVER have we received such a warm, thoughtful, and over-the-top welcome! I mentioned when booking that we'd be staying the night of our youngest daughter's 2nd birthday. Some accommodations place a little note in the room; I thought it'd be a nice touch for her baby book. The host reached out prior to our arrival stating they'd do a little something for her and I was already so touched. But when we arrived, we walked into a chalet filled with personalized balloons, a birthday sign, cupcakes, a candle, AND a note. Needless to say, both our girls were elated and my husband and I were completely blown away by the host's care and love toward our littlest. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts!! You made a long travel day so special, and a little girl's 2nd birthday an unforgettable one! On another note, the chalet itself is beautiful: modern, nicely situated in nature, and possibly the best-equipped rental we've ever stayed in. They have every kitchen appliance under the sun, a very obvious 1st aid kit (just in case), and a wonderful washer out back. Even more impressive is how spotlessly clean the place was - we were amazed! We'd highly recommend!

Really lovely clean apartment, super friendly family running it downstairs who gave us tips, and the location was perfect- about 5 minute walk and you are on the main street of la fortuna, but it was peaceful. Perfect place and huge thank you to the hosts!

The rooms were small but worked perfectly for our group of three. Very nice rooms and comfortable beds. The location was also amazing. The hotel was close to restaurants and right downtown La Fortuna but still in a relatively quiet area. The staff was amazing and we were able to leave our bags safely in the hotel while we explored la fortuna before our shuttle showed up. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting La Fortuna.

Great for staying before/after a flight from the airport. Very cute hostel, the planes are of course loud, but with earplugs it is ok. Kenneth was extremely friendly and gave us a parking space in the fenced parking lot of the next door car repair shop without us announcing beforehand that we will need it.

Everything was absolutely amazing! It’s so homely and Olga and Adrian were honestly the loveliest people. The place was spotless and I loved the doggies

The accomodation is located at the perfect place if you have an early flight or you arrive on a flight late at night. The facilities are just what I expected, very clean and you have everything you need for your stay. The beds are comfortable, the rooms are big and they have a nice kitchen and living room. It was the perfect place to rest after a late night flight. One big plus is that Taco Bell, McDonald's, KFC and many other small restaurants are located at a walking distance from the accomodation. That's very convenient in case you want to get something to eat late at night or very early in the morning.
