The man at the reception picked us up from there.

I also really appreciated that the place is pet-friendly — it was so nice to be able to travel with my dog and feel completely welcome.

The outdoor space had a warm, peaceful atmosphere—lush greenery filled the air with natural scents, and the tree swings added a relaxing, nostalgic touch. Honestly, the photos don’t fully capture the unique vibe and tranquility this place offers. The village itself is picturesque and serene. We especially loved waking up to the sound of birds chirping in the morning. For those looking to explore the area, Gomi Mountain is just an hour’s drive away. At 2,300 meters above sea level, it offers breathtaking scenery and is well worth the visit. I highly recommend this place to anyone seeking a peaceful and rejuvenating retreat. It’s a hidden gem.

We truly enjoyed our holiday at this wonderful villa. The property is ideally located just a few steps from the quietest part of Shakvetili beach – it never gets crowded, even at peak times during the weekends. The sea deepens gradually, making it perfect for children, and the beach is kept very clean, with the council service team maintaining it every morning. The pine trees surrounding the villa provide plenty of shade and create a pleasant refreshing microclimate at any time of day. The villa itself is a newly built property with a thoughtful design. It is very clean, tidy and well-equipped, with three A/C covering all the living areas & bedrooms, plus all essentials available. Unlike large developments or small hotels, there are no disturbances here ... the house is all yours. Mr Akakiy and Mrs Tamara are wonderful hosts – very kind, attentive, and responsive, making everything possible to ensure guests are enjoying their stay. Although Shakvetili is a quiet place, a lovely restaurant, a 24hr shop and a pharmacy are within a 3-5 min walk. And finally, three different theme parks are within just a 10 min drive, and many of Western Georgia’s sightseeing attractions are 1-2 hours away by car, which we enjoyed exploring.
