The camp is owned by a group of local farmers and the local community cooperative (The Dana Cooperative). Profits go back to the local community. The location and views are amazing! The staff were so friendly and caring during our stay.

The air-conditioned rooms provide a mountain view and come with a wardrobe and free WiFi. Marvel Hostel is outstanding. The owner was incredibly friendly and constantly ensured I was comfortable. I was the only guest at the hotel, yet he still came to cook breakfast for me. The room was spotless and cozy. If you're reading this and considering a trip to Jordan, just go. There are no tourists in Petra right now, and you'll likely never see this wonder of the world this empty again in your lifetime.

Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. The manager was very kind and made us feel at home. The location was great for local restaurants. It is up a slight winding hill and away from more tourist restaurants but close enough to walk to the Petra visitor entrance. Or Taxis are everywhere.

We arrived late and we’re given a beautiful late dinner to eat, and then hit some excellent advice about how to access Petra through the Backdoor, which I highly recommend (and you have a moderate level of fitness). There are some nice spots to sit it - there’s a rooftop tent and a nice little table in the hallway from which to watch the sunset. I was happy to be away from the hubbub of Wadi Rum, and the drive in isn’t that far to go in if you want a city vibe and to access Petra site.

The apartment is spacious and comfortable. Breakfasts were tasty and big. There was also a possibility for ordering a dinner for 10JD per person (for a group of four) and the food was way much better comparing to what we ate in the town. The contact with a host was very good, he was responsive, caring and trying to meet all our needs. Thank you!

Tucked 400m away from the main village and at the start of the White Dome trail, this is by far the nicest, most welcoming, cleanest and grounding place to stay in Dana Village. Rooms and beds are comfy, the view is great, the food is amazing (thank you mom!) and the animals are the cherry on top of the cake - even the goats that try to jump up and into the Hobbit village 😁 Our host was kind and generous, we couldn't have asked for a more familial setting for our one night stay. We simply can't describe how wonderful this place is - book it yourself and try it out!
