Eiju is such a great host, he’s super hospitable and friendly, we had many good yarns together. my stay in Matsushima couldn’t have been any better. The rooms were super clean and comfortable and I was given many cool recommendations of things to do whilst there. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Tokinenoyado Yunushi Ichijoh is situated in the Kamasaki Onsen district in Shiroishi, a 15-minute drive from Shiroishi Station and Shiroishi-Zao Station. The entire experience was extraordinary. We were greeted with welcome drinks in front of a fire, and led to our room by courteous but hospitable staff. Our 3-person room faced a quiet garden, and we enjoyed delicious cake and tea before being led to the dinner. There was a pair of yukata and a pair of more modern pajamas in the room, along with a warm jacket and a pair of socks for each person. There was a toilet in our entrance hall, and a sink and mirror in the room. Dinner and breakfast were both served in an independent Japanese room located in the older building, and our server conversed with us in fluent Mandarin and English. We loved the exquisitely made Japanese dinner and breakfast, every single small dish and platter of it! The two hotsprings were also delightfully pleasant. The indoors medicinal bath was small but very clean, while the outdoor bath was much more spacious. For some reason, we did not meet many people using the bath either in the evening or the morning. We opted for a shuttle bus to leave the hotel in the morning. The hotel was very helpful with answering questions and reserving shuttle service through the booking.com chat room in English. We were extremely happy with our stay, and hope to stay longer next time.

The views of matsushima bay and the little islands were breath taking. Now add the ability to soak in an onsen and enjoy those views? Phenomenal. The staff were next level and beyond attentive. From the welcome tea to the seven course dinner and amazing breakfast I felt well taken care of throughout my stay. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Set in Yunohara and only 35 km from Zao Onsen Ski Resort, 半芸ハウス offers accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. Everything, the facilities, the decoration just everything. The owner was also very nice and helpful, staying at the place make me feel like home

It is a very clean, spaceful and warm accommodation. All of the decorations were lovely. The accommodation was much more beautiful than the photo showed. The owner is humorous and was so kind to us. I had wonderful time in the accommodation. I will stay in this accommodation if I go again.
